IWS Thailand was incorporated under Thai laws in 1999 and in 2011 formed a joint venture with MMI, a world class beverage distributor that in 2000 became part of the Emirates Group, whose business includes a range of activities including duty paid, travel retail, airline supply and award winning retail concepts.

A core focus on premium wine, spirits and other beverages. To maintain excellent relationships with key trade partners. To build brands via consumer oriented pull and trade focused push.
IWS imports wine, spirits and other beverages including major internationally renowned brands and boutique and craft producers in order to have a well balanced and interesting mix from all over the world including France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria, Poland, Norway, UK, South Africa, US, Mexico, Chile, Argentina, New Zealand, Australia, Japan among others.
IWS headquarters are located in central Bangkok, with with 6 other branches in Koh Samui, Phuket, Krabi, Hua Hin, Pattaya and Chiangmai in order to have a nation wide distribution and the best service for its over 3,500 customers. These include hotels, restaurants, bar & retailers, wholesalers, supermarkets, convenience shops, airlines, duty free shops & diplomatic channels (on-trade is out main focus).
