ABOUT MOUTAI “เหมาไถ” นั้นมีประวัติศาสตร์ที่ยาวนานกว่า 2,000 ปี ตั้งแต่ในรัชสมัยราชวงศ์ฉิง (Qing Dynasty,1644-1911) ชื่อนี้นั้นมาจากต้นกำเนิด และแหล่งผลิตคือ เมืองเหมาไถ มณฑลกุ้ยโจวในประเทศจีน ซึ่งมีแม่น้ำฉื่อสุ่ยไหลผ่าน “เหมาไถ” นั้นถือได้ว่า เป็นต้นแบบ และเป็นแบบอย่างของสุราจีนที่ความหอมแบบ “เจี้ยง (Jiang 酱香)” “เหมาไถ” เริ่มเป็นที่รู้จักในระดับนานาชาติ เมื่อในปี 1915 “เหมาไถ” ได้รับรางวัลเหรียญทองในงาน American “Panama World’s Fair” ซึ่งนับได้ว่ากว่าศตวรรษที่แล้ว ทั้งนี้ “เหมาไถ” ยังได้รับการยอมรับว่า 1 ใน 3 เหล้ากลั่นของโลก ที่ซึ่งสามารถผลิตได้แค่ที่เมืองเหมาไถได้ที่เดียว เช่นเดียวกับเหล้าคอนญัค ที่ผลิตได้ที่เมืองคอนญัค ประเทศฝรั่งเศส และวิสกี้ ที่ต้องมาจากสก็อตแลนด์เท่านั้น “เหมาไถ” ได้ถูกยกย่องว่าเป็น “สุราประจำชาติของจีน” เนื่องจากเป็นเครื่องดื่มที่ใช้ในงานเลี้ยงรับรองแขกระดับประเทศ เป็นประจำคนดังอย่างเช่น ประธานาธิบดีริชาร์ด นิกสัน ประธานาธิบดีบิล คลินตัน เป็นต้น “เหมาไถ” ถือว่าเป็น สุราจีน (ไป๋จิ่ว […]
